Getting to the Expo

The SSAA SHOT Expo, 26 & 27 August 2017, is being held in the Royal International Convention Centre(RICC), at RNA Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills 4006.

The Brisbane Showgrounds is located just 1.5km from the city’s CBD in Bowen Hills.

It’s bordered by Bowen Bridge Road, O’Connell Terrace, Brookes Street and St Paul’s Terrace and is home to the state-of-the-art Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), a four and a half star Rydges Hotel and vibrant King Street dining hub.

It’s also in walking distance of Fortitude Valley, which boasts some of the best boutique shopping in Brisbane along with a diverse range of entertainment options.

Public transport is easily accessible and Brisbane’s Domestic and International Airports are just a quick 15 minute taxi ride away.

Parking

There is parking available at Brisbane Showgrounds, however it is limited.  Parking at the showgrounds will be on the Main Arena through Gate 3 on Gregory Terrace, and through Gate 5 on O’Connell Terrace.

Parking is $13 per car per day, and can be paid by cash or EFTPOS upon entry.

Public Transport

Trains

Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley railway stations are less than a 10 minute walk from the Brisbane Showgrounds. To view the map for Public Transport, CLICK HERE>>

Buses

Taxis

The main taxi companies operating in Brisbane are Black and White Cabs (ph. 13 32 22) and Yellow Cabs (ph. 13 19 24). There are taxi zones located outside Rydges Hotel and The George Bar and Bistro on King Street.
